Ahti

Ahti UAS Description and High-Level Specification

Modirum | Gespi’s Ahti UAV is an autonomous, multi-role quadcopter with a 60-minute flight endurance and an operational range of up to 52.5 km. It forms part of the Ahti UAS—a flexible, mission-ready system that includes ruggedised ground control laptops and ground-based antennas. Together, they enable BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) operations and high-bandwidth communications, delivering near real-time FMV (Full Motion Video) transmission from air to ground.

Standard features of the Ahti UAV include:

  • Persistent Systems Wave Relay radio system, providing secure, reliable communication—even in contested environments.
  • NextVision Raptor EO/IR camera system, capable of detecting vehicles up to 15 km away and humans up to 10 km, in both Electro-Optical (EO) and Infrared (IR) modes.
  • High-precision GPS with RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) support and redundancy for reliable navigation and positioning.

The Ahti UAV is engineered for operational durability. Its components and electronics are shielded against environmental stressors, allowing reliable performance in high temperatures, wet conditions, salt-air environments, and windy terrain.

For flexibility, the communication, camera, and GPS subsystems can be replaced with customer-preferred configurations, ensuring adaptability to specific mission requirements.
