General Purpose Bombs – MK Series Bombs
Modirum | GESPI’s MK 81, 82, 83 and 84 General Purpose Bombs are low-air resistance bombs used in aircraft bombing operations. They are equipped with electronic proximity fuzes or mechanical impact nose (M904) and tail (M905) to ensure reliability and produce explosive, explosion, and fragmentation effects. Bomb Fuzes – M904 and M905
M904 Fuze
The M904 is a NATO standard mechanical nose fuze used in the MK 80 series bombs. It is used in conjunction with its booster and can be configured to arm between 2 and 18 seconds. It uses M9 delay element (nondelay, 0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1 or 0.25s).
M905 Fuze
The M905 is a NATO standard mechanical tail fuze used in the MK 80 series bombs. It is used in conjunction with its booster and can be configured to arm between 2 and 18s. It is armed through its anemometer and uses an M9 retardation element (0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1 or 0.25s).
