About the Opportunity:
Modirum | GESPI is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our technology strategy and operations across the organization. This executive role is critical to driving digital transformation, ensuring information security excellence, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT management, information systems, information security, technology procurement, and vendor relationships. This position offers the opportunity to shape our technology landscape and support our expanding operations across multiple business units and manufacturing environments.
Your Role in the Team:
As Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of our technology organization. You will:
- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy, vision, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead and manage the IT organization, including infrastructure, applications, security, and support teams
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise information systems and technology platforms
- Direct information security strategy, governance, and risk management programs
- Lead information security initiatives including ISO 27001 compliance and security framework implementation
- Manage technology procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations
- Establish and maintain strategic vendor relationships and manage vendor performance
- Oversee IT budget planning, financial management, and technology investment decisions
- Ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business requirements across all departments
- Lead cross-functional technology projects and digital transformation initiatives
- Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Manage technology risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with executive leadership on technology strategy and business enablement
- Oversee enterprise architecture and technology standards
- Lead technology change management and organizational adoption initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Manage IT service delivery and support operations
- Drive innovation and evaluate emerging technologies for business value
- Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Lead technology talent acquisition, development, and retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in senior executive positions
- Proven track record of leading IT organizations and managing cross-functional technology teams
- Extensive experience in IT management, strategic planning, and technology operations
- Strong expertise in information systems architecture, implementation, and management
- Demonstrated experience in information security leadership and cybersecurity governance
- Proven experience in technology procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations
- Experience managing IT budgets, financial planning, and technology investment decisions
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and technology standards
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, etc.) and regulatory requirements
- Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading digital transformation and change management initiatives
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
