Cargo Mission:
To ensure operational safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance in all company activities, ensuring that processes involving explosive and controlled materials are durable, safe, sustainable, and in accordance with national and international standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safety Management
- Develop and implement specific safety policies and procedures for the operation, transport, and handling of explosives and hazardous products.
- Coordinate accident prevention and emergency response programs.
- Conduct internal audits and periodic safety inspections
- Train teams in safe practices and emergency protocols.
- Management of the Occupational Health and Safety Service (SESMT) and its responsibilities.
Environmental Management::
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and regulations of regulatory bodies.
- Implement programs for reducing environmental impact, managing waste and emissions.
- Monitor environmental indicators and provide continuous improvements.
- Conduct environmental and sustainability reports for regulatory bodies and clients.
- Institutional Relations.
- Interact with regulatory authorities (Army, IBAMA, state and municipal environmental agencies).
- Represent the company in external audits and certifications.
Team Management:
- Lead and develop a team of safety and environmental technicians and engineers.
- Promote an organizational culture focused on safety and sustainability.
Job Requirements:
- Academic Background: Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Safety or related fields).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in industrial and environmental safety management, preferably in chemicals, explosives or defense.
