LAD Surge Suppressors

Flight-ready surge protection when safety is non-negotiable

Reliable and effective, Modirum Gespi surge suppressors provide robust protection against electrical discharges, ensuring stability and safeguarding equipment from excessive currents in aircraft, land vehicles, and infrastructure systems. By draining surges safely to ground or chassis, they maintain voltage within acceptable levels and prevent damage to mission-critical electronics. Developed and manufactured in accordance with the most stringent aeronautical and defense standards, such as DO-160G, these suppressors are already in consolidated operation on platforms like the Praetor executive aircraft and the C-390 military aircraft (Embraer). Equipped with a dedicated measurement port, they enable quick on-wing validation of device integrity through simple voltage tests, minimizing equipment removal and reducing maintenance costs while ensuring long-term efficiency and reliability.
