Process Development and Test Engineering Coordinator
Location: Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil
Position Summary
The Process Development and Test Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating engineering activities related to the development of machinery, processing lines, and manufacturing devices, as well as the design and operation of engineering tests and certification trials. The professional will manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the integration of projects, processes, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and innovation of the solutions developed.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate the activities of the process and test engineering team, defining priorities, deadlines, and resources.
- Supervise the development of machinery, devices, processing lines, and systems applied to manufacturing.
- Plan, structure, and monitor the execution of engineering tests, regulatory tests, and certification trials.
- Ensure that projects meet applicable technical standards, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Support the integration between product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and R&D areas, ensuring technical consistency and synergy in deliveries.
- Promote continuous improvement in development and validation processes, encouraging technological innovation and the use of digital tools.
- Act as a technical and leadership reference point for the team, supporting the development of skills and the training of new professionals.
Technical and Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Mechatronics, or related fields).
- Consolidated experience in the development of industrial processes, machinery, and manufacturing devices.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards and norms applicable to manufacturing and testing (ISO, ABNT, MIL-STD, STANAG, etc.).
- Proficiency in project management tools and agile methodologies.
- Fluent English is mandatory, this professional will be responsable to techical reports and interfacing with international standards.
