Built to fit an ARINC 404 ¼ ATR tray with a DPXB-13-34B connector, it features a DB-25 maintenance port, functional test button, and output circuit breaker for safe and efficient on-wing checks. Certified under TSO-C173a, and qualified to DO-293A and DO-254 standards, the BECA delivers proven performance and reliability with an MTBF above 50,000 hours. Its primary function is to supply emergency energy to critical subsystems, supported by an internal heater, power bypass, and integrated protections that enhance safety and longevity. Built-In Tests (BIT) facilitate maintenance, while its temperature-controlled operation ensures dependable performance in extreme conditions, maintaining stable energy delivery and system resilience.
